Hi,
I'm Kaaliyah Jackson
I'm 12 years-old entrepreneur, speaker, coach, author, and philanthropist. Diagnosed with sickle cell anemia, and struggling with the basics of everyday life because of my illness. To combat my disability, I focused on animals, which I felt helped my spirit and keeps me motivated. My mother Glo FIsher, a successful entrepreneur and my #1 supporter purchased my favorite animal overtime, a husky, German shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Morkie, guinea pigs, and a cat. With my new pets, I taught myself how to care for them including bathing, medicating, and even got certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
My love and passion to care for animal and entrepreneurship led me to volunteer at pet shelters and take care of my friends and neighbors' pets for extra cash. I always had a business mind and was determined to save my money to launch my own pet care business. At 11, with my mom's support, I launched K9 and Feline Daycare Services, LLC., which is a full service pet day care business that provide overnight boarding, home care, baths, pet first aid course, training, and other services. As CEO, I hired my mom as COO, my first employee. Within our first year in business, this dynamic daughter/mother duo started generating revenue and expanding their daily operations.
Always one to give back, I've released my first book, "Trick Than Treat: 5 Tips to train your Dog". This book will help readers teach their dogs how to do tricks, be more playful, and bond with their furry loved one. I'm currently in 7th grade, and has attended business training and boot camps across the world. I'm determined to take my brand to new levels in the year to come
